ballroom - Hints

There are two puzzles to solve here. Start with the one in the cigar box. You will need to use the auction catalog as well. 

What am I supposed to do with these letters in the cigar box?

  • Follow the snaking path of the arrow in the auction catalog, reading the letters first down and then up, to get the message: OPEN FRAMES THEN READ BOTH SIDES

Where’s the second puzzle?

  • If you look at the backside of the frame, you will see markings on them.

  • The frames have half letters on them at the tops and bottoms. When you put them all together it reads: UNDER TABLE.

  • The message says UNDER TABLE – when you look under the table you find the: LEAD PIPE.
